EUDA National Focal Point
ICAD, I.P., through its International Relations and Cooperation Office, is the Portuguese Focal Point at the European UnionDrugs Agency(EUDA).
Since 31 July 2025, ICAD has been certified as a National Focal Point by EMCDDA/EUDA, having reached the level of "advanced capacity".
In this capacity, it ensures the execution of the tasks defined in the Reitox - Grant Agreement, signed annually between ICAD and EUDA, namely the submission of updated statistical and qualitative information on the national drug situation in its different dimensions. The National Focal Point is the institution designated by the national member of the EUDA Board of Directors to carry out the tasks set out in Article 34(2) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1322 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 June 2023.
The National Focal Point contributes directly to EUDA's core task of collecting and communicating coherent, harmonised and standardised information on the drugs phenomenon across Europe.
