Intervention at the "Universo Paralello" Trance Music Festival

The Risk Reduction and Harm Minimisation Team (RRMD) of the Ribatejo CRI was present at the "Universo Paralello" Trance Music Festival, which took place in Fazendas de Almeirim on 28 and 29 September.

The specific DRR intervention sought to minimise the damage caused by consumption during the 28-hour event and ensure the well-being of those attending. The high demand for information and support generated in the meantime should be emphasised.

The intervention included thedistribution of kits for individual safe inhaled consumption and condoms, the provision of information about the psychoactive substances consumed and support for attendees who showed psychological distress as a result of consumption.
