CRI of Porto Oriental signs collaboration protocol on labour intervention

The signing of a protocol between the Institute for Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (ICAD, I.P.) and this municipality took place on 11 December in the hall of the S. Cosme, Valbom and Jovim Parish Council.

The aim of this protocol is to develop and deepen institutional collaboration in the prevention of occupational risks resulting from addictive behaviours and addictions (CAD), with a direct impact on workers' health and the safety of work environments.

The aim is to raise awareness of the occupational risks arising from the work carried out by workers with risk behaviours (both for themselves and for other workers), to promote training activities to prevent addictive behaviours and to improve the referral of cases.

The event was attended by the Executive of the Union of Parishes and local authority officials. ICAD, I.P. was represented by Miguel Viana, from the Prevention Team and by Jorge Barbosa, coordinator of the Porto Oriental Integrated Response Centre (Local Intervention Unit-CAD).

The signing took place during the session on "Intervention in addictive behaviours and dependencies in the workplace".
