II Meeting of RRMD of the Braga CRI

On 19 November 2025, the Braga Integrated Response Centre held its 2nd Risk Reduction and Harm Minimisation Meeting in the auditorium of the University of Minho (Azurém Campus), in the city of Braga.

Organised in partnership with the municipality of Guimarães, 150 health and social care professionals attended.

Under the theme "Safety and Inclusion in Times of New Challenges", the event included a workshop on the "Community Use of Naloxone". Topics such as "Caring, Preventing and Reducing: On the Road to MDR", "Sexuality, Substances and Health: A Look at PrEP, Chemsex and Slamming" and "Safety, Health and Dignity: The Role of Supervised Consumption Rooms".

The meeting ended with the award for best poster, entitled "Psychostimulants in the Treatment of Cocaine Dependence", by Rita Ortiga and Maria João Castro.
